It's been a fantastic week in 3S.
We've written some brilliant instructions in English explaining how to wash a woolly mammoth. The children have used adverbs, prepositions and imperative verbs very effectively.
In maths, we are still working on place value and finding this a little bit tricky. However, the children have been determined to get to grips with it and today was a break through day! I'm looking forward to seeing what they can achieve next week.
In science, we planned some delicious, nutritionally balanced meals - thank you to everyone who sent in food packaging so the children could study the nutritional content, it really brought our lesson to life.
In art, the children designed their Bell Beaker pottery ready for our lessons using clay over the next couple of weeks. I was very pleased with the designs they came up with.
Have a fantastic weekend and see you all next week.
