It's been lovely having the children back for the final half term of this academic year.
We have dived straight into our English - 'the greatest hits'. We are recapping all of the grammar and punctuation skills we have learnt, ready to write a recount after next weeks trip and a narrative about Romans.
In maths we have started our unit on shape, beginning with turns and angles. They have been working very hard.
We have started an experiment unit in science - you may notice the cress seeds all growing in the windows. The children are making daily observations in their science books before we draw our conclusions.
We have also found our rhythm again in music, it was wonderful hearing them sing again!
