During English this week the children started investigating diary entries. We had a really exciting hook lesson where the children had 3 clues to work out what our next topic was going to be and there were some wonderful suggestions including dragon magic books and treasure maps.
In maths we have moved onto money. The children have learnt a lot already so if you have any change at home do let them have a look at it to practise their counting skills.
In Shared Reading we continued with Who Let the Gods Out. The children have been reading the book out to their peers during class reading time which has been lovely to see.
In history we investigated why gods and goddesses were important to the Ancient Greek's and wrote a letter to one asking for their help.
