We do hope you are all well. We wanted to remind you of the events that we are running for parents this week.

Dedicated Dads
Date and time: Wednesday 10th December 6pm-7pm
Location: Hornchurch Fire Station RM11 1SH (When you arrive, please come to the side door near the library)
Theme: Emotional Wellbeing over the Festive Period
- What does taking care of you own and family emotional wellbeing look/feel like in your home.
- Why is important to be aware of our own emotional wellbeing.
- How do you navigate tricky situations, communicate clearly with empathy.
Online Parent Workshop – Supporting Wellbeing During the Festive Period
Date and time: Thursday 11th December 5.30-6.30pm
This workshop is aimed at parents of both primary and secondary aged children.
The festive period can be a time of excitement for children and young people but also has the potential to feel overwhelming and challenging for some.
The workshop will be discussing:
- Why children and young people might find this time of year challenging
- Strategies to support your child to cope with difficult feelings
