To help more families benefit before the summer holidays, we’re encouraging schools to share the offer again, so parents can complete one (or both) of the six-week programmes before the break begins.

To support parents across the borough, Lauren Satchell, Early Help Service Manager at Havering Council, has commissioned a joint SFSC licence giving all parents and carers in Havering free access to both of our online courses:

1. SFSC: Parenting ProgrammeAge-specific parenting strategies to help raise happy, healthy, and confident children, tailored for parents of children aged 0–67–11, and 11–18.

2. SFSC: Stronger RelationshipsSupports co-parents (together or separated) to reduce conflict, communicate better, and create more emotionally stable home environments.

What both courses offer:

  • Weekly self-study modules and live Zoom group discussions

  • Flexible sessions, including daytime and evening options

  • A digital manual and support from experienced SFSC-trained facilitators

  • No referral required – parents register themselves directly

  • Culturally responsive and trauma-informed – designed for all families, especially those from diverse or marginalised backgrounds

Particularly helpful for:

  • Year 6 families preparing for the move to secondary school

  • Parents managing co-parenting conflictSEND needs, or financial/emotional stress

  • Families who may be hesitant to access traditional parenting support

Flyers are reattached and include registration links. Please share them in your newsletters, at parent events, in assemblies, or via your school website.

If you need any additional materials or have questions, please feel free to contact us at sfscparent@racefound.org.uk. We’d love to help more families finish the course before the summer break begins.

Kind Regards
