What is the ‘Local Offer’?  

The Children and Families Bill was enacted in 2014. Local authorities are now required to publish and keep under review information about services they expect to be available for children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) aged 0-25. This is the 'Local Offer'.

The deadline for Reception 2026 applications was Thursday 15th January 2026. If you
 need to make a late application then please visit the website above for further information. 

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

Easter holiay dates are from Monday 30th March to Friday 10th April 2026.
Children return to school on Monday 13th April 2026.
