Dear Head Teacher,
 
This is to inform you that Havering Council is consulting on its draft Children & Young People Education Place Planning Plan 2023 – 2027.
 
The draft Plan sets out how we will carry out our statutory duty to ensure that there are sufficient places of high quality, in the right places for all learners, while at the same time fulfilling our other responsibilities to raise education standards and be the champion of children and their families in securing good quality early years, primary, secondary, post-16, special school and alternative education places across the borough.
 
This public consultation will run from Monday 20 March 2023 to Monday 15 May 2023.
 
We are keen to hear from parents and carers, residents, education providers, stakeholders and any other interested parties regarding the draft plan.
