Mrs Shah's update

05 Dec 2025

Maths

This week was our assessment week, in Maths, the children showed great perseverance and determination, tackling each question with focus and resilience. It has been wonderful to see how much progress they have made and how confidently they applied their learning.

English

In English, children did really well in their reading papers, grammar and punctualtion assessment and finally spelling test. They approached the tasks with maturity and worked very hard to show what they have learned this term. Their effort and concentration have been impressive, and we are very proud of the way they challenged themselves.

Topic

In Science, the children investigated food chains, exploring how plants and animals depend on one another for survival. They enjoyed discussing simple food chains and discussing the role of producers, consumers, and predators.

Meanwhile, our nativity dress rehearsals have commenced this week. The children have been practising lines, songs, and dances with growing confidence, and it is exciting to see the performance coming together.

We also embraced the festive spirit by decorating our classroom for Christmas. Every child had the chance to add their own decoration to our Christmas tree, which now looks bright and cheerful. The classroom feels wonderfully festive, and the children were delighted to contribute to making it special.
