Maths
This week in maths the children have been learning how to use a number line to divide. They are beginning to be very confident in using repeated addition to divide without remainers. We are still working hard to understand dividing including remainders!
English
This week we have finished our adventure narratives,based on writing a sequel to Journey. The children worked hard to include lots of interesting vocabulary and different sentence starters in their writing.
Topic
In history, the children learned about the battle of Marathon. They used this as a basis to research about current marathons around the world. In Science, the children learned about the difference between opaque, transparent and transluscent materials.
