Autumn 2 Week 9

10 Nov 2022

Despite the heavy rain, we have had a fun week in Year 2. We have started to learn our Nativity songs.

English
Inspired by Benjamin Zephaniah and Michael Rosen, We have been reading and performing poetry. We split into small groups, learned a poem and performed it.

Maths
We have been adding and subtracting to and from tens. We have found this tricky!

Science
We continued our topic, looking at what humans need and want. We had a few interesting ideas about what humans need!

Notices
  • Each child has been allocated a part for the KS1 nativity. Please do not send any costumes in before Monday 5th December as we don't have space to store 120 costumes for that long!
  • If you have not already done so, please book an appointment to see your child's teacher for their parental consultations on Thursday 17th November.
