Year 2 in Wonderland for World Book day

Wow! What a great week we had exploring Alice in Wonderland in literacy. Today was world book day and the costumes were fantastic. We had merry mad hatters, awesome Alices, quirky queens, rascally rabbits,crazy cards,kind kings and of course a rather cheeky Cheshire cat. Even Wally put in an appearance. In the afternoon we had a Mad Hatter tea party. Some children had a cup of tea with some delicious cakes,crisps,biscuits and even pancakes.(Thank you Miss Kaur) It was great fun.

SCHOOL ADMISSIONS - excluding Nursery

Children born between 01/09/2021 - 31/08/2022 are due to start Reception in September 2026.
Applications close on 15th January, 2026. Offer day is in the evening of 16th April, 2026.

If your child has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), please note there's a different process for school transfers. You'll need to contact the Special Educational Needs Team directly at sen@havering.gov.uk to discuss changing your child's school.

School will finish for the Christmas Holidays on Friday 19th December (children will leave school at 1:15pm) and will return to school on Monday 5th January 2026.
