The Titanic

11 Jun 2016

The time just seems to be flying by and there are still lots of things I would like to cover with the children. This week we found out about the Titanic- 'the ship  that could never sink.' The children were really interested and the standard of their writing, when they wrote about events as if they were a survivor, is absolutely fantastic. I have been really impressed.
In maths we carried out some practical work on division and remainders.
In order to take part in the Euro championships, each child has picked a team. We will be following the football and the winner will get a small prize. Will it be Russia,Wales,Italy or Spain? So if your child comes home saying I'm Belgium you know why!
There is a leaflet in the homework folders explaining the tests Year 2 have taken recently.
Don't forget our assembly on Thursday June 30th.
