Message in a bottle

Three days only and we have packed in as much as we could this week. Following on from our shipwreck stories, we attempted to write a persuasive message in a bottle. We certainly had some desperate pleas to be rescued! We are also trying out some sample test papers to prepare for our SATS tests.
In maths we have really risen to the challenge of work on tens and units, inverse operations and addition involving carrying. I have used so many stickers this week, I have got to buy some more!
The children are beginning to comment in their books on their work and I have been really pleased with how mature and honest they have been, about how they have found different pieces of work.
