Santa Claus is coming to town.

17 Dec 2015

What a busy week! I hope you enjoyed the Nativity shows on Monday and Tuesday. The children looked great in their costumes. and performed so well.
A particular well done to Adenike who had a lot of dialogue to learn  but also sang all the songs too. Also to Aman who stepped in to take Ria's part so that Ria could be Mary at short notice. Also to Maisie in Year 1 who again was willing to take a part too, at very short notice.
For the future it would be very helpful if children who will not be at the concert could inform the class teacher  early so that they are not allocated parts. As you can appreciate the nativity involves a lot of work  from writing a script, typing up lines to making a program and of course rehearsing. I feel it is important that every child in Year 2 has a part in the show and I always endeavour to make sure that this is the case.

On Wednesday we had our party which is always fun but tiring. Where do they get all their energy from? Pass the parcel is always a favourite as well as musical statues.

Today we had a visit from the man himself-Father Christmas and he gave us replies from the letters we had sent to him. Here we are reading them.

A big thank you for all the Christmas gifts that I have received as well as Miss Morris.
I hope that you have a fantastic Christmas and best wishes for a healthy and prosperous new year.
