Snake,ladders and popping pirates!

27 Nov 2015

I am writing this after an enjoyable games afternoon in BRICS. I had forgotten how anxious you get while playing Pop up pirate. The look on Sawyer's face was fantastic. Dovydas I will give you a rematch at Snakes and ladders before the year is out!  We had Buckaroo, Kerplunk, Genga, Dominoes, lotto,Snap to name just a few.

Back to the serious issue of work, we have been writing character descriptions in literacy and in maths learning how to add and subtract two 2 digit numbers. We certainly have a few maths wizards in class!

In RE we found out about the ten plagues in Egypt which really inspired the children to write. Here are some samples from Amelie,Olivia ,Aman and Kayden.

I hope parent's evening was informative and the children were proud of their achievements so far this year.
Please encourage your child to go over their words and sing the songs for the concert.Christmas is coming!
