Tests, time and the Titanic.

05 Jun 2015

This week the children have completed assessments and I would like to say how well the children have worked. I am very proud of their achievements and their maturity during these assessments. Well done year 2.

We have also been finding out about sounds in science and carried out an investigation to find out which sounds can be heard at different distances.
In Topic work we have been looking at geographical features at the seaside as well as discovering why the Titanic sunk.
Our artist this week was Claude Monet and we experimented with creating our  own water lilies paintings.

Just a reminder to ensure children have PE clothes in school every Monday.

School trip has been arranged for 30th June and the children should have given you a letter today.

Homework this week is on time as the children have been finding this quite difficult.
Thank you for all the great instruments that you helped them make at half term. Next week we are going to create some bands. X factor watch out!
