Jungles,Lighthouses and Maypole dancing.

We have looked at the work of Henri Rousseau this week and created our own jungle pictures with different creatures. These are on display in the corridor.
Year 2 wrote their own stories this week about a knight,dragon and a princess trapped in a tower. Some impressive work from lots of children.
We also designed stained glass windows in RE and found out about lighthouses and Grace Darling in topic work.
BRICS was all about May traditions and lots of children enjoyed dancing around a maypole and made wishing wells, flower necklaces and headbands.
Don't forget it is a training day on Friday so homework will be sent home on Thursday. Spelling test will also be on Thursday.
