St George and the dragon week

We had a super time on Friday at the Ragged school. It was really great to see all the children dressing up and taking part in a Victorian lesson. They seemed to like using the slates but not so keen on the punishments!
This week we have been working on time and the 5 minute intervals in Mathematics. In literacy we have been writing poems about the Brady chicks and getting to grips with plurals.
In Science it was all about worms and how they help plants to grow. We managed to find a few specimens to observe.(From the garden)
In BRICS we celebrated ST George's day with the children making shields,hats,badges and dragons.
