Weekly update from Year 2

28 Sep 2014

Well it has been another exciting week at Brady. We had fun role playing Farmer Duck and a lazy farmer. In Science we looked at different habitats in the garden. Some of the spiders were rather large and there were a lot of big slugs too! We found out how to sign some of these creatures which was fun.

As the new Reception children started full time this week Year 2 were very helpful at lunchtime sitting with them to help settle them into school. I was really proud of them.

I thought I would share some comments from the children about some of our work this week.

Jayden,Gautum,Casey and Arsene- It was fun looking for creatures and where they lived in the garden.
Jasmine C  -I liked doing hard maths!
Krystalle- I liked finding out about Rosa Parks.
Gabriel- I liked the Horrid Henry story.
Next week we have BRICs on Friday and we will be thinking of our grandparents
.
