Miss Bowden - 27 Mar 2026

Well done year 3 for a brilliant term!

We have had a busy week in Maths finishing off our capacity and voume topic! We worked really hard adding, subtracting and comparing different volumes and capcities! After half term we will going back to looking at fractions!

In English, we planned and wrote our own blog entries as the character Gregory Cool from our book!

In Geography this week, we completed our topic of rocks, relics and rumbles. We have really enjoyed this topic, espeically learning about earthquakes and volcanos! Next term we will be moving into our History topic of Emperors and Empires!

We also completed out Science topic of Rocks this week and will be starting of Plants topic after half term.

AS well as our easter egg hunt, we had an amazing time looking at all of the decorated eggs this week! The children done an amazing job.

Reminder:

A trip letter has gone home about our visit to Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve next half term, payment and permission slips do not need to come back in until after Easter but we are accepting them now. Payments are payable on parent pay or cash. We are also looking for parent volunteers to support us on this trip, if you would like to volunteer, please speak to your class teacher.

We hope you all have an amazing Easter Break !
