Year 3LB - Mrs Bowden Class News

A big well done for another great term Year 3!
 
We have been working hard this week in English learning about clerihew poems and have enjoyed writing our own! You have all done really well with your poetry topic and have written some amazing pieces yourselves!

In maths we have continued our measurement topic, looking more closely at perimeter of shapes. Although it is a tricky concept to grasp, you all worked really hard and have done really well this week.

For History we had our amazing Ancient Greek day. As well as the amazing outfits, we had the best day living the life of an Ancient Greek. We learnt how to do Greek dances, write in Ancient Greek letters, write numbers Ancient Greek and designed Ancient Greek pottery. In the afternoon we made some Tzatziki dip which we enjoyed with pitta’s and chopped pieces of halloumi!
