Well done for another great week year 3!

In Maths this week, we carried on with statistics. We collected data as a class and represented this using bar charts, tally charts and pictograms. Next week this will continue.

In English this week, we started learning the skills to write a recount. We have used time adverbials and apostrophes for possessions. Pupils will continue using these in their writing and will be completing their recount next week about the Roman visitor.

In History this week, we looked at Roman Roads and how they affected Britain. Next week we will be writing a letter to the Romans.

In Science this week, we perfected a recipe for foam dough using; cornflour, shaving foam, glitter and food colouring. The pupils loved this, as it was very messy!

In DT this week we, designed a greenhouse and next week we will be using recycled resources to create our own!

Please make sure pupils are wearing hats and sun cream and have a water bottle In this hot weather.
