Well done for another great week everyone!

This week the Owls came to visit for Science week and everyone met the Owls, and learnt interesting facts about them.

In English this week we completed our performance poetry and we have started a newspaper report about Boudica's revenge! The pupils will complete this next week and write their own newspaper report using prefixes, suffixes, inverted commas and prepositions.

In Maths this week the pupils have been completing the unit 'shape'. We looked and descirbed 2-D shapes, identified parallel and perpendicular lines and drew polygons using vertex's.

In Sciene this week, we looked at inventions and how mistakes can turn into something amazing and unexpected. Pupils created their own silly putty using cornflour, baby oil and washing liquid. They will continue to make this even better in the next couple of weeks.

On Friday pupils took part in a Healthy Eating Acitivity. Year 3 made a watermelon slushie using watermelon, lime, honey and ice. Everyone throughouly enjoyed the slushie and learnt a lot about healthy eating.

Have a lovely weekend everyone!
