We have had a lovely week in Year 3, well done!
English:
In English, we finished writing our own setting description based on the book Gregory Cool! The children had a carousel lesson where we edited our drafts together before writing up the final piece.
Maths:
In Maths, we began our new topic ‘fractions’. We have learnt to add, subtract and partition a whole.
Science:
In Science, we have furtherly explored our topic of rocks and soil on our school trip, which the children all really enjoyed!
School trip:
The children all really enjoyed their trip to the RHS Hyde Hall where they participated in lots of different activities to do with rocks and soil. Thank you so much to all the parents who volunteered!
Easter:
Yesterday was an exciting day of Easter festivities, where children have had an Easter egg hunt, and showcased their amazing creations for the ‘egg-hibit’- Well done and thank you for participating!
