Welcome back! We hope you had a lovely Half-Term break. This week we have been learning all about bonfire night! People celebrate with fireworks, sparklers, toffee apples and bonfires. We made some lovely paint splatter firework pictures, edible sparklers and even learnt a new song called On Bonfire Night. We have aslo been learning about Rememberance Day. We made our very own poppies which you will be able to see displayed in the school very soon. Next week we will be taking part in a 2 minute silence to pay our respects. In Maths we have been consolidating our knowledge of shapes. We have started our new phonics groups and soon the children will bring home their new phonics books. Please ensure you are reading with your children atleast 3x a week signing their reading records! Don't forget next Wednesdy are the Parental Consultation meetings. The school will be closed. You should of recieved an email to book in with your class teachers. We are looking forward to another exciting Half-Term.
