On Monday, Dr Takkar came to visit EYFS and she gave a great presentation to the children and parents about oral hygiene and why it is so important. We would like to extend a huge thank you to Dr Takkar and her team for taking the time out to come and visit us and for our toothbrush packs. This week our learning has been based around Autumn. We have been learning about Autumn and have enjoyed making crowns and wands by collecting leaves. Through these activities, we have discussed why leaves may look and feel different in Autumn compared to other Seasons. We have been talking about celebrations that occur in Autumn and the changes we can see and feel around us. Later in the week, we will be reading Leaf Man and making our own leaf creations. We also have NeeNaw coming to visit us, thank you so much for your contributions. In maths, we have been sorting and matching. The children have really enjoyed activities based around this. Please remember the school is closed to pupils on Friday 25th October, so half term will begin from 3:15 on Thursday (24th). The Reception Team
