Reception Autumn 1 Week 4

Hello everyone, we've had a lovely week so far in Reception. We have been reading Lost and Found by Oliver Jeffers and we have been making telescopes and boats! We also attempted to draw a penguin and label some features of it using our initial sounds. Later in the week we will be exploring our fingerprints! This will be linked to the visit we had from a police man last week. We will also be practicing our cutting, tracing and colouring skills.
In maths this week we have focused on matching! Matching socks, matching buttons and matching lids. The children have enjoyed this and we will also be continuing to practice our number formations.
We are looking forward to seeing all of the children dressed up and ready for their school disco after school!
