Reception Summer 1 Week 5

Miss Skelton & Mrs Divall - 16 May 2024

This week we have continued our learning of 'Big Wide World'.

We read the story 'Little People, Big Dreams' and spoke about the life of Sir David Attenborough. We discussed our favourite animals and pretended to be TV presenters telling our favourite facts. We learnt all about tigers and how they are an endagered species that we need to protect by looking after the world!

In Maths, we have been practising taking away. We have sang 10 Greens Bottles and 10 in the Bed. We have also been practising writing number sentences (e.g. 10-1=9). Next week we will be moving on to addition!
