This week the children wrote a recount based on their experience on Roman Day. The children worked hard and impressed us with their use of conjunctions, adverbs and writing consistently in the past tense.
Maths
This week in Maths, we have been adding and subtracting mass. We also compared mass using inequality signs. Our next step in our learning is to be able to read scales in ml and L. We have noticed that children have been finding column method for addition and subtraction challenging. We will be tackling this in school, but any practise of using this method to add and subtract 3 digit numbers at home would be helpful too!
Foundation
This week the children learned about the different leadership styles of the Ancient Romans. In Science, the children have been labelling parts of a flower.
