Reception Summer 1 Week 3

Miss Skelton & Mrs Divall - 30 Apr 2024

This week we have continued our topic Big Wide World.

We have read The Invisible String by Patrice Karst as part of our PSHE lesson and discussed how we know were loved. We drew the people we loved most (mummy, daddy, sister, auntie and all of our pets of course!) This morning we created our own observation drawings of different fruits. The children tried really hard to add as much detail as possible. This afternoon, we will be learning about different foods from around the world. We will be making and tasting our own tortilla pizzas!

In Maths, we will be pracsiting forming numbers sentences to 10 (6+4=10) and looking at 2D shapes. Please remember that Thursday 2nd May is polling day - children do not attend school.

Thank you to everyone who has completed homework and returned proud clouds this week! We really enjoy reading them and sharing them with the class.
