This week in Year 2 we have had a great week. All the fun and excitment of World Book Day on Thursday as well as an excellent week of work.
In Maths we have been looking at pictograms. We have interpreted pictograms and used keys to work out the totals.
In English we have started looking at the book 'The Magic Finger' by Roald Dhal. We have been looking at similies and creating interesting sentences based on the book. We are continuing to look at this book this week.
We have also completed many other subjects this week including; Music, Computing and Geography where we have been looking at the oceans and seas surrounding the UK. We have also been looking at the fact that the UK is made up of many different islands.
