This week Year 2 have been preparing ourselves for the SATS.
In Math, the planning has been based on areas the children have found most difficult in their practice papers. They have been learning a variety of topics, such as merasureas and number patterns before completing practice questions to show that they have learnt what was intended.
In Literacy, the children have been writing acrostic poems. They are increasing their vocabulary in an effort to rhyme and learning when to use commas to pause.
Next week on the 11th of April is our class assembly, called Land Ahoy! The children have put in a lot of effort to learn their songs and lines.
