Mud Pies and algorithms

This week in Literacy the children have been making their own recipes for a disgusting mud pie. They had to think of gruesome ingredients and conjure up a recipe using expanded noun phrases and time conjunctions.
In Numeracy, the children have learnt that it division is the inverse of multiplication, and that we can use our times tables knowledge to answer divsion problems. The children have also been solving money problems too.
In topic we are conitnuing to learn more about mini beasts. The children learnt what a life cycle is and they learnt the four stages of a frog and butterflies life. The children also learnt what an algortihm is, and they had lots of fun writing and testing their own algorithms to get people around the school to different locations.
