First week back in 2015

Happy New Year. We have lots of things planned for the new term and some visits to the local area. I am hoping to arrange a visit for the day so will let you know details when this is arrranged.
This week the children have been presenting their work on a landmark,building or attraction you might see in London. Big Ben was a very popular choice! The children have developed their presenting skills and have answered questions about their work.
We started mental maths tests today and the children did very well. Their book is in their homework bag so you can see their results and the children can complete corrections. They had 10 seconds to work the answer out.
Next Friday afternoon we are going to Rainham library so if anyone would like to walk with us please let me know by Wednesday. Thank you
