Benjamin Bear needs an umbrella
27 Jan 2017
We had fun in science this week. Benjamin Bear who goes home with a member of the class every week, needed an umbrella for our rainy days. We carried out an investigation to see which was the best material. We had to use a pipette to drop water onto different materials on his head! He did get rather wet! The children then wrote about the investigation and we made a conclusion about the best material to keep you dry.
We are continuing our work on artists and so looked at the work of LS Lowry. The children drew their own scenes trying to recreate his style. Some great work was achieved by taking care with sketching, colouring and shading.
