Farmer Duck

16 Sep 2016

Our second week has been very busy with lots of  different tasks to complete. In literacy we read Farmer Duck(which is Mrs A's favourite). The lazy old farmer made the duck do all the work so we decided to write a list of jobs for the farmer instead.
Here is William reading his list. I wonder if the farmer will still be smiling?
In science we have been thinking about things that are alive, never been alive and once were alive. Some interesting ideas were shared.  We had fun making British values bridges in art which look great in the corridor. In maths we have been consolidating our understanding of number bonds and completed our first mental maths test. Well done to all those children who got 10 out of 10.
Dojo winners were Isobel, John and Kiera.
