Weekly update and news of the Infant concert

30 Nov 2014

The children have started to learn their parts in the Infant concert. This includes a clever owl,a playful dog,a rather debonair cat, a grumpy cockerel,a tired donkey, cows, sheep, mice and camels.
In literacy we have been writing about characters in stories,
including Captain Hook, Snow White and the Big bad wolf.
In maths we have been adding and subtracting 2 digit and even 3 digit numbers.
Our topic has involved the children comparing life in Kenya with life in England.

On Friday we had BRICS with a Winter theme. The children made snowmen, snowflakes, robins, snowy scenes and trees. The children really enjoy these sessions and it is lovely to see all ages working together.
Thank you to those parents who came to help and I hope you too enjoyed the afternoon.

If your child was born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016, they are due to start Reception Class in September 2020.  If you were unable to attend our previous meetings, you're welcome to visit the school on Wednesday 11th December between 5-6pm (no booking required).  Please do not attend if you came to the previous meetings.

Reception - Year 6 parents/guardians. If you wish to order school photographs via the school for free delivery, your order must be received into the office before Tuesday 3rd December. For Nursery parents, before 13th December.

Chicken Pox - a number of children are currently off ill with this. If your child has or gets chicken pox, they should remain off school for about 5 days from the onset of the rash/spots.  Once the spots have crusted over and no new ones appear, your child can return to school if they feel well enough.
