Future dates this term for information.

15 May 2016

Just a reminder about dates this term.
Over the next 2 weeks we will complete SATS tests in reading and mathematics. Results for these will be included in your child's school report.

Our class assembly is on Thursday 30th June at 2.45 and after you are invited to come and look at the children's work in their books. I hope you can make this, as the children really enjoy showing off their work and how much progress that they have made over the year.

On Tuesday 5th July there will be a short meeting after school for Year 2 parents to explain the transition to the juniors and answer any concerns that you may have. If you are unable to attend I will send a letter home with all the information on and also put this on the website.

We have arranged to take Reception,Year1 and Year 2 on a trip to Grays Beach again on Thursday 14th July.  You will receive a letter nearer the time.

Sports day for the whole school will be Thursday 7th July weather permitting and again a letter about this will be sent home nearer the time.
I hope this is helpful, particularly if you are working, as I know it is difficult to have time off at short notice so felt it would be useful to be informed early.

CHRISTMAS FAIR - FRIDAY 13TH DECEMBER, 2-4 PM.
Cake donations gratefully received. Please hand into the school office or your child's classroom in the morning. Thank you.

Reception - Year 6 parents/guardians. If you wish to order school photographs via the school for free delivery, your order must be received into the office before Tuesday 3rd December. For Nursery parents, before 13th December.

Chicken Pox - a number of children are currently off ill with this. If your child has or gets chicken pox, they should remain off school for about 5 days from the onset of the rash/spots.  Once the spots have crusted over and no new ones appear, your child can return to school if they feel well enough.
