Week 5

This week Year 2 have started some of their end of KS1 SATs assessments in reading. The children have worked hard so far to ensure the assessments reflect their ability and progress throughout the year. Next week, the children will complete assessments in Maths and Spelling, Punctution and Grammar.
In the afternoons, the children have been learning about our class's decade from the Queen's reign, which is the 1960s. So far we have looked the differences between the lives of children then and now and Beatlemania. We have really been enjoying learning our class song and dance, and can't wait to share this with you at the jubilee celebrations!
