English
This week in English the children have watched a short film called 'Caterpillar Shoes'. We have been practising using expanded noun phrases and interesting verbs to plan for a character description.
Maths
I have been very proud of the children this week in Maths. We have been working on a fractions unit, and they have worked extremely hard to find 1/2, 1/4 and 1/3 of amounts. It is not the easiest thing to understand and they have tried so very hard.
Cultural Day
We have enjoyed looking at all the photographs that the children brought into school today. We had interesting discussions about belonging, and the different groups that we all belong to.
