Year 2 Update
06 Jul 2020
Hello all!
This is what feels like the 100th week of no school, and it is now clear that we will not be back fully until September. We only have 2 weeks left until the Summer holidays which I am sure you are all looking forward to. I hope you have been able to follow government guidelines and see more of your special friends and families outside when it has been nice and sunny!
I am very sad that I will not be finishing the year with you as my class, but we have had lots of good times in Year 2! I know that some of you may be a bit worried about going into Key Stage 2 but you will have a wonderful year with Miss O'Sullivan and Mrs Wall :) Below I have uploaded a transition document that you might want to do at home. Even if you can't print it out, it might be nice to have a conversation about moving into your next class with your adult at home.

Last week I was in class working with the Year 1 children who have rejoined learning in school. I was also phoning home to you, too! It was wonderful to hear your voices and learn what you've been up to. From playing the piano, to learning how to cook, to exploring the woods near where you live - you have all been up to lots of exciting activites. Some of you were not able to come to the phone when I rang last week, so you will be first on my list when I ring next week! We can talk about next year and if you have any questions, you can ask me!
Teddy Bear's Picnic
There was one thing I was
really looking forward to in Year 2 this year, and that was my first Teddy Bear's Picnic! Unfortunately we have not been able to do this this year, but I want to set you one final task! If you send me a picture of you having your own teddy bear's picnic, I can put the photos on here and we can all feel like we had a picnic together! Send your pictures to swest@brady.havering.sch.uk by next Thursday :)
Meanwhile, here are some pictures of the fun things we did during Year 2. I hope you enjoy looking at them!
Stay safe,
Miss West
