Second week back

17 Jan 2020

Welcome back everyone - the children are back into the swing of things after what was hopefully a lovely Christmas break for you all!

This week we have been very busy indeed.

On Monday, we received a letter from our local MP asking the children for ideas on how we could improve our local area. The children thought long and hard about the great things about living in Rainham as well as the parts we would like to see an improvement in! Thank you to all of the parents who filled in the survey that we completed.

In Maths, we have been focusing on measure. We have used rulers to measure length, measuring jugs to measure capacity and used scales to weigh out ingredients to make our own biscuits! Yummy! We decorated these in the afternoon using icing sugar and sprinkles, before quickly gobbling them up!

Just a note to say that P.E. is on a Thursday for the rest of the half term. This was mistakenly written as Wednesday on your newsletters - apologies for any confusion!
