Reception Autumn 1 Week 4

This week in Maths, we have been looking at the composition of 4 and 5. We tried really hard to write our own addition number senteces (3+1=4, 3+2=5). We have also been consolidating our knowledge of shapes and created our own shape pictures. We have continued our topic Stary Night and read the story Owl Babies. We labelled the key features of an owl and also learnt all about bats and how they use echolocation.
We have been working really hard to practise our lines and songs for the chsitmas show. Please keep practising with your children at home!
We have been having lots of fun in the garden this week. We have been practising our skipping skills and playing lots of different ball games.
Don't forget that Friday 29th is non uniform for all children and Wednesday 4th at 4:30 we will be having a nightime walk (this is optional and children must attend with an adult who is over 14 and is responsible for them at this time) Dont forget to bring a torch and/or glowsticks for the event!
