Hello all, I hope you have a lovely half term despite the blustery weather!
Maths
This week in Maths we have been continuing with fractions. The children have worked hard to find one quarter, one half, one third and two quarters of amounts. They have also been working on understanding that 2/4 is equivalent to 1/2. The children have worked very hard at this and I am very proud of their progress.
Writing
We have been using our new topic, Land Ahoy, as inspiration for our writing this week. The children have written a character description about a pirate and have applied to work on a pirate ship!
