The Three Billy Goats Gruff

09 Oct 2019

This week we are learning about The Three Billy Goats Gruff. Children have enjoyed using masks to act out the story and joining in with repeated refrains too.  In the garden, we have been taking turns to act as the troll under the bridge and other have been acting out the goats! We have been building bridges using construction materials, and painting/drawing the characters from the story.

In maths we have been learning some more colours and we are practicing counting objects.

This week some of us had PE and we loved it! Getting changed and going in to the hall was all very exciting. This term PE is every Monday afternoon, next term the PE time will change.

Your child would have been given their very own reading record and reading book this week. They also chose a library book to take home. Please make sure you check their bags and read the letter so you know what to do.
