Year 4 are a bunch of bright sparks!

04 Dec 2015

This week we have completed our end of term English assessments and have retold a traditional story, perhaps you could ask your children to retell the story to you, making sure that you join in with all the actions!

In Maths we are focussing on our Year 4 targets such as knowing what each digit represents in a four digit number and adding or subtracting 1, 10, 100 and 1000 to any given number?

We have enjoyed making a working human model of an electrical circuit showing how the circuit needs to be complete in order to light the bulb.

Can you see the break in the circuit?

We are looking forward to performing our Carols by the Fireplace and have been thinking about making a Christmas wish 'that money can't buy.'  The children composed some really thought provoking suggestions and I am sure you would be as proud of them as I was!

Kind Regards,

Mrs. Robinson
