We are going on a Bug Hunt...

Mrs Divall & Mrs Zaayman - 14 Jun 2019

This week has been yet another eventful week in Reception.

On Wednesday the children work fantastically hard to produce an amazing class assembly- well done to all!

This week we have written lots and lots and lots still focussing on bugs and of course our lovely caterpillar pets (yes they are STILL caterpillars!) The children wrote facts all about different bugs such as: A slug is not a snail without a shell. A bee lives in a hive. They also thought about a bug then wrote clues so that others could guess what bug they were describing. On Thursday the children were lucky enough to get outside, between rain showers, and go on a bug hunt in the garden. They were able to spot lots of bugs- you could have a go at looking for some bugs this weekend too, they children really enjoyed it, as you can see from the photos.

In Maths the class have learned how to tell the time using o’clock and every single child has been successful in doing this. Go on Mums and Dads- give them a quick test and see if they remember!

Wishing you all a great weekend- we hope the sun starts to shine again,

Mrs Divall, Mrs Zaayman & the Reception Team.
