The Gruffalo Trip

Mrs Divall - 19 Oct 2015

Dear all,

This week we are learning from the core text 'The Gruffalo.'

We are going to the Gruffalo Hunt at Thorndon Country Park on Thursday.

Your child needs to bring a packed lunch with a bottled drink (no fizzy drinks or sweets)  This packed lunch should be in a plastic bag which is clearly labelled with your child's name (no lunchboxes or rucksacks)

Your child needs to wear warm clothes (not school uniform) and trainers or wellington boots.  Please be aware that your child may return a little muddy.

Your child must have a warm coat which is waterproof in case it rains

Your child will not need any spending money

You need to ensure your child is here at the correct time of 8.45am and you will pick your child up at 3.15pm.

Please note that unless you have recieved a letter informing you that you have been selected to help on this trip, you will not be attending this school trip with us.  I am very sorry for any disappointment this causes but we must take the correct ratios as per the arrangement with Essex County Council.

It's going to be alot of fun - let's hope it doesnt rain!! (if it does rain too much we have a Plan B in the visitor centre at the woods)
