Goldilocks and the Three Bears

We have been busy this week learning from the story of 'Goldilocks and the three bears.'  

We have been using puppets to retell the story, focussing on expression for different characters. 

We have been practising addition number problems by adding up different quantities of compare bears to find a total, and we have been practising subtraction with Goldilocks eating various different quantities of the bears food. Later in the week we will be writing the story and we are also beginning to practise for our class assembly, where the children will choose some of their favourite activities from the year to show you.

ps: The assembly will be at 9.15am on Thursday 25th...you will be able to look at your child's Learning Journey between 9-9.15 and then see our assembly! I'll send a note home tomorrow with the date and time on.

Isobel's has been showing us what everyone is going to do in assembly , and she is very happy with her important job on the computer , thank u so much for making her feel good , and not just the quite girl at school , I hope it's going to be filmed I have to work but her dad will be there . Sam

If your child was born between 1st September 2015 and 31st August 2016, they are due to start Reception Class in September 2020. 

If you were unable to attend our previous meeting on 8th Oct, you're welcome to visit on Tuesday 19th November between 1pm and 3pm (no booking required).  Please do not attend if you came on the 8th Oct. 

Half term week is 21st - 25th October inclusive.  Children return to school on Monday 28th October.  Emails, post and voicemail messages will not be monitored during half term week.
