Jim, Gary and the Eclipse....

Mrs Divall - 23 Mar 2015

Last week we spent three days working from the story Jim and the Beanstalk. We learnt about going to the opticians and going to the dentist, because in the story the giant asks Jim to buy him a pair of glasses and a pair of false teeth.  We learned ways to keep our teeth healthy.  We also had a special day where Gary the hamster came to visit.  We learned how to care for him and did some writing about him. On the Friday we learned mostly about the eclipse, and heard all of the birds singing as it got darker!

Heard all about Gary and now Aashna wants one too :). Shame about the cloud cover on Friday else the kids would have experienced an amazing spectacle.

No problem. Actually I am impressed with Gary as a pet, he's really friendly and quite funny. Maybe you should get one! Although when they wee it smells disgusting!!
